Showering and Bathing After Your Breast Augmentation

Showering and Bathing After Your Breast Augmentation

Published on September 28, 2018

At Pacifica Cosmetic Surgery Center, we want to make sure that your recovery is as easy and quick as possible. That means providing you with a detailed list of instructions for you to follow.

One of the things you should prepare for is the changes you will need to make to your bathing habits. For the first three to four weeks after your breast augmentation, you will not be able to bathe, get in the pool, or submerge your breasts underwater in any way. You will also need to wait for about 36 hours before you can shower again.

The purpose of these restrictions is to minimize the chance of experiencing any complications during your recovery. If you are prepared for your breast augmentation, contact Pacifica Cosmetic Surgery Center today to schedule a consultation.
