This 22-year-old Newport Beach female came to our plastic surgery office with a desire to change the shape of her breast. During her consultation, she was examined and Dr. Hendricks, our triple board-certified plastic surgeon, suggested a sub-glandular breast augmentation to correct her tubular breast (primary breast hypoplasia). Knowing she wanted a subtle change, he recommended a Mentor 300cc saline implant that would make her go from a B-Cup to a full C-Cup. During the surge, Dr. Hendricks used a peri-areolar incision and placed the implant under the muscle of her breasts. For her small build and short stature, this provided this patient with her ideal breast size in proportion to her body frame. She was excited to see that she now had a beautiful bustline with excellent shape and symmetry.
