HOW THEY WORK
Affirm CO2 Laser – "Minimal Downtime, Maximum Result"
The Cynosure Affirm CO2 laser system is a breakthrough for skin rejuvenation. It allows Dr. Hendricks to adjust the laser’s strength so as to give you a mild treatment or a more aggressive treatment. It corrects a variety of skin problems:
- Deep wrinkles and folds
- Fine lines
- The discolorations of sun damage
- Keratoses
- Poor skin texture
- Acne scarring
One or two treatments will be all that you need. There is very mild temporary swelling. Your skin will be very pink for 48 to 72 hours then as flaking and peeling are completed your new skin will emerge fresher and softer than ever before..
This Workstation uses cutting-edge technologies where two laser wavelengths are emitted sequentially. One wavelength heats the deep tissue for firming and the second wavelength promotes peeling of the surface layers of sun-damaged skin.
This is a non-ablative treatment, meaning that it does not cause peeling of the skin surface. There is an air cooling system that increases your comfort and makes even a topical anesthetic unnecessary for most people.
Using a patented technology called Micro Ablative technology and Cynosure’s proprietary scanning deliver system, Dr. Hendricks can give you two treatments at one time:
- Skin resurfacing; and
- Collagen renewal.
Each treatment takes 30 to 45 minutes and gives you a complete and fast skin rejuvenation:
- Scar reduction
- Wrinkle treatment
- Reduction of age spots and other pigmentation or redness
- Skin tightening
For optimum results, four to six treatments are recommended, three to six weeks apart. You may have some temporary redness but you will see significant skin improvement after just two treatments.
