Generally a mini tummy tuck will require a smaller incision area to correct the problem areas, and the belly button may not need to be repositioned on the abdominal area.

Complete Tummy Tuck

If you are unhappy with the appearance of your entire abdominal area, both above and below the belly button, it may be necessary to undergo a complete tummy tuck procedure. In this procedure, a larger incision is made just above the public line to allow for the proper amount of excess fat and skin to be removed. Depending on the amount of skin removed, the belly button may need to be repositioned to create a natural-looking midsection.
